Easy to prepare and family friendly Yogurt Cake recipe
A delicious yogurt cake for the whole family! Ideal for snacks or picnics, easy and quick to prepare.
Ingredients
1 pot of yogurt (preferably plain)
2 pots of sugar
3 pots of flour
1/2 pot of neutral oil
2 eggs
1 tablespoon of orange or lemon zest
1 packet of baking powder
1 small piece of butter
Preparation
Pour the plain yogurt into a bowl and keep the pot to use for the other ingredients.
Add the sugar and mix well, then add the flour and baking powder to the mixture and mix again.
Break the eggs into a bowl. Beat them into an omelette and add them to the mixture.
Pour in the oil and add the orange peel. Mix until smooth.
Using a paper towel, butter the cake pan. Pour the mixture into the pan.
Bake the yogurt cake in the oven at th. 6 (180 °C) for about half an hour.
The cake is cooked when you stick the blade of a knife inside and it comes out dry.
Let the cake cool for a few minutes. Turn out onto a pretty plate.
