Easy Classic Sponge Cake

Ingredients
- 4 eggs
- 125 g of sugar
- 125 g of flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (th 6). Mix the yeast with the flour.
- Separate the egg whites from the egg yolks, and beat the egg whites until stiff with a pinch of salt.
- When they are very firm, add the sugar and beat again.
- Reduce the speed of the mixer and add the 4 yolks all at once, then immediately the flour and the yeast in a drizzle.
- Stop the robot very quickly so that the mixture does not have time to settle, pour into the mold, smooth the surface and immediately bake for 20 minutes.
- Unmold while lukewarm and wait until the cake has cooled to slice it lengthwise and garnish it.
