Cheese fries with minced meat

Ingredients

1 tube/s of tomato paste
1 pepper
1 can of tomato, pureed
1 can of beans (chilli beans or kidney beans)
1 can of corn
2 onions, diced
1 garlic clove, finely diced
1 chili pepper, deseeded and diced
Salt and pepper
Cumin
, possibly chili pepper (jalapeno Rings)
Olives, sliced
​​1 portion. French fries
Cheddar cheese, grated
600 g minced beef

Let’s come to the USA snack food classic:

1. First, fry the two onions, add the garlic and chili, add the mince and fry until crumbly. Then add the tomato paste, fry it and then deglaze with the can of tomatoes.

2. Add more tomato paste, possibly also diced peppers if you like. Let it simmer on a low heat for about 30 minutes (now preheat the oven for the fries) then add the beans and corn.
Now simmer for another half hour, then season with salt, pepper, cumin and possibly more chili.

3. If you like it, you can also use dark chocolate, coffee and/or whiskey to refine it in a “cowboy” style, that’s a matter of taste.
Let it cook for another half hour while putting the fries in the oven. If the chili has become too spicy, a cup of sour cream will help.

4. That would be the chili con carne, if you want, stop here – if you want the most delicious snack in the world, you have finished preparing the French fries in the meantime and now pour them onto a deep plate.

5. Next, add a generous portion of chili on top and a thick layer of cheddar cheese, put the whole thing briefly in the still-hot oven until the cheese melts, decorate to taste with olive slices, diced peppers or jalapenos.
