The Brilliant Trick to Remove White Stains from Glasses and Make Them Like New
No matter how you wash your glasses, sometimes streaks persist. To make them shine like diamonds, follow our tips!
How to properly clean glasses? The guilty? Hard water (or limestone water). Because of it, your glasses are sometimes covered in a cloudy film, no matter how many times you wash them or put them in the dishwasher. Do you dream of sparkling glasses on your table? Here’s our tip to make them as clean as the first day.
To get rid of limescale on glass
To remove limescale from glass or crystal, fill it with white vinegar. For more persistent stains, rub them with a mixture of salad oil and white vinegar in equal proportions.
To revive glass or crystal, rub it with a halved potato. If you are not satisfied with the result, soak your object in a basin filled with water and potato peelings for 2 to 3 days. Another alternative is to clean your glass or crystal object using a cloth soaked in household alcohol.
Always to restore its shine to a glass or crystal object, pour coffee grounds into it and let it sit for at least two hours. Then rinse the container with vinegar water and dry with a soft cloth.
If your glass has scratches, turn to toothpaste. Wrap a soft cloth around your finger and with a little toothpaste, clean the scratches using circular motions.
