The leaves do not fall in winter, and the plant itself is resistant to cold and heat. It grows in the months of July and August.

A dense rosette is formed from the leaves, and in summer the flowers appear on its tops, collected in thyroid inflorescences at the top of long peduncles.

They are yellow in color and fluffy because of the hairs. The plant can be propagated and grown by planting a part of the stem directly in the soil, without prior rooting.

ARE THERE ANY SIDE EFFECTS

A rule for all herbs is not to use them arbitrarily, without consulting phytotherapists, long-time herbalists and doctors.

Also, not to prepare herbal decoctions, extracts or various preparations ourselves, as we may not dose the ingredients correctly or make an inappropriate combination of substances.

Prolonged use of herbs and herbal products at our discretion can also have negative consequences, as it can lead to overdose, which can be life-threatening.

Consuming the juice of the leaves of the celandine in large doses can induce vomiting. Overdose can also lead to skin irritations, diarrhea and nausea.

It is not recommended for pregnant women and nursing mothers, as there is no research on how it affects their organism.

For the fat person, it is very important to follow the rule: when taken internally, it must be consulted with a medical person – a doctor or a pharmacist.

That is why the tinctures and nutritional supplements, the composition of which includes the herb and which are licensed, are the safest to use.
