Materials:

  • Empty and clean plastic bottle
  • Scissors or cutter
  • plastic hole punch
  • Acrylic paints or permanent markers (in aerosol)
  • Optional embellishments (such as ribbons, buttons, or any other decorative materials)
  • Flowers or plants

Instructions:

  1. Wash and dry the plastic bottle completely to ensure it is clean and ready to use.
  2. Then, we remove the cap from the bottle and place it at the bottom of the bottle to mark the diameter.
  3. Afterwards, the part that we have marked with the cover is drilled.
  4. With the help of scissors, cut the top of the plastic bottle. You can choose the height you prefer for your vase, however on this occasion we will use a small size bottle.
  5. Next step, once drilled and we have cut the contour of the upper part (as shown in the video), we introduce the spout of the bottle and seal with the bottle cap remaining at the base of the bottle.
  6. Finally, decorate the plastic bottle as you wish. You can paint it with acrylic paints, use permanent markers to draw designs, or attach decorations such as ribbons or buttons. Let your creativity fly!
  7. Once you have decorated the bottle and the paints or glues are completely dry, you can place the flowers or plants inside the vase. If necessary, you can add a little water to the bottom to keep the plants cool. Or just artificial flowers to decorate.
  8. And ready! Now you have a beautiful recycled vase that is not only eco-friendly, but also unique and personalized. Place it in your home or office to add a touch of color and freshness.

Remember that you can experiment with different shapes and sizes of plastic bottles, as well as different decorating techniques, to create your own unique recycled vase design.

Have fun and contribute to caring for the environment at the same time!
