How to make liquid soap

Let’s see below the elements required to make this homemade liquid soap and each step in its preparation:

Materials:

  • Soap remains (equivalent to 3 soaps)
  • 1 large grater
  • 1 saucepan
  • 600 ml of water

Procedure:

First, we cut the soaps equivalent to 3 into pieces. Keep in mind that we need about 60 ml of water for 3 soaps.

If you have leftover soap equivalent to 4 units, then about 700 ml of water is required. Let’s remember that if we add more water, the liquid soap will be too watery. The idea is to obtain a creamy liquid soap with more body.

Let’s see the step by step of the entire preparation:

  1. We begin by placing the pieces of soap in the saucepan with water over moderate heat, bringing it to a boil while stirring constantly and the soaps melt. Let’s remember, you can also grate the soaps instead of cutting them into pieces.
  2. The key is to achieve a creamy texture and then the liquid soap will be ready.

Mix and package:

  1. First, we add about 5 drops of lavender oil to the preparation or it could also be other fragrances of choice. Such as cinnamon, mint, orange, eucalyptus, among others.
  2. The idea is to obtain a fragrance since the soap pieces are varied, so the tip is to add these drops of oil.
  3. To finish, we got 2 bottles to store the homemade liquid soap. We can place each bottle, one in the shower and another bottle in the sink.
