The kitchen stoves are like new with the envelope technique: zero fat

By Lesia

When cleaning the kitchen, it is essential  to clean the worktop as well  , and therefore also the grills and burners, especially if they are  full of grease and fat  .  Food remains  do not even come off the stove and if we do not wash them carefully we will find them encrusted and blackened, making the kitchen look old and dirty. A very clean hob with shiny grills and burners is something completely different!

But what do you do when you have to take care of the stove after a few days, perhaps due to lack of time? Don’t worry, there is a  very simple and quick method  to follow to quickly have very clean stoves.

We are talking about the envelope technique  , or rather the plastic bag, the one they give us in the supermarket when we go shopping. Thanks to this trick we can quickly obtain very clean and shiny stoves, free of grease and dirt, well disinfected and odorless. Let’s see how to perform this technique!

How to prepare the mixture for cooking and grilling.

To get excellent results when cleaning your kitchen counter, and therefore have clean and degreased grills and stoves, you must  use an effective mixture  . Forget about the products found in the supermarket, here is a  homemade mixture  that you can prepare a few minutes before cleaning the kitchen and with  inexpensive and easy-to-find ingredients  at home. This is what you should do:

  • Take a glass container;
  • Pour in half a glass of floor cleaner;
  • Put two teaspoons of baking soda;
  • Mix carefully;
  • Add ¼ cup white vinegar;
  • Mix everything well.

How to do the envelope technique

Putting the plastic bag technique into practice is very simple. If you find yourself with a stove covered in food splashes, fried food or other foods that you have cooked, with this method you will solve the problem and you will be able to have  a splendid plate in no time  . The first thing you should do before continuing is to check if the stove or the grills are hot. If there are no problems, here is what you should do:

  • Remove the counter top grates;
  • Remove the burners by removing the top and bottom;
  • Place some rolled up paper towels inside the burners;
  • Spray the previously prepared degreasing mixture onto the countertop;
  • Open the ends of some plastic bags and cover the entire stove;
  • Let everything sit for about ten minutes.

Meanwhile, take a plastic bag and place it inside the stove grates. Place the stove with the burners in another bag and spray the degreaser you prepared earlier inside the bags.

Leave them to act for ten minutes and then take the grates, wipe them with a   kitchen  sponge with the green side and rinse them with running water  , preferably warm. Also clean the stove and burners with the sponge, taking care to remove any incrustations with the green side and rinse with tap water.

The stove and burners will be very clean and shiny, like never before. Once this phase is completed, it is time to remove the bags from the countertop. Take a   soft microfiber  cloth and remove all the degreaser  from the different points of the countertop, also removing scale and dirt.

Rinse the cloth and wipe it again until the hob is completely clean and free of dirt and scale. At this point dry it thoroughly and you will have finished cleaning everything, obtaining exceptional results with little. As you can see, with the  bag method  you do not need to spend hours degreasing the hob, stove and grills.
