Breaded Fish Fillet

Ingredients:
6 fish fillets
2 eggs
1 cup milk
1-1/2 cups flour
1-1/2 cups breadcrumbs
Salt and pepper to taste
oil for frying

PREPARATION:
Heat enough oil for frying in a non-stick pan on the stove over medium heat. Add salt and pepper to taste to each fish fillet. In a medium bowl, mix the egg and milk together (beat the egg first). In a large bowl, place the breadcrumbs. In a large bowl, place the flour. Place the piece of fillet in the bowl with flour and toss on both sides. Shake off any excess, then place the fish fillet in the bowl with beaten egg and milk, shake off any excess. Finally, pass the fillet through the bowl with breadcrumbs, toss on both sides. Shake off any excess and transfer directly to the pan with oil that should already be hot. Brown the steak on both sides until cooked through, preferably over medium heat so that the breadcrumbs don’t burn too quickly and the breaded piece doesn’t end up hard. Remove from the oil and place on absorbent paper towels. Serve hot with either a vegetable salad with ranch dressing, steamed vegetables, white rice or French fries, and a delicious sauce.
