Chocolate Cups: The Simple and Original Recipe to Serve Dessert

Chocolate cups are small glass-shaped chocolate containers ideal for serving creams, ice creams and liqueurs. Very easy to prepare, in just a few minutes you can create a delicious and spectacular dessert at the end of a meal . Simply chop the dark chocolate , melt it in a bain-marie or in the microwave and pour it into plastic or paper cups. Once the chocolate has cooled, all that remains is to delicately remove the cups and fill them according to your tastes. We have prepared a soft and delicious coffee cream made with just 3 ingredients : water, sugar and instant coffee , which will be whipped together until they form a mousse. Once the chocolate cups have been filled with the cold coffee cream, they will be served sprinkled with bitter cocoa.

Melt the chocolate in a bain-marie1, transfer into plastic cups and cover the inside well using a spoon2. Then turn upside down and remove the excess. Put the glasses in the freezer for at least 30 minutes3.

Now prepare the mousse: pour the instant coffee, sugar and water into a bowl4, whip with electric whisk5and in a few minutes it will be ready5.

Remove the glass from the chocolate7and fill with coffee mousse8. If you want, sprinkle with a little bitter cocoa. The glasses are ready to be served9.
Advice
If you like creams, try them with chantilly cream , classic custard or chocolate cream , even more delicious. For a delicious summer dessert, you can fill the glasses with vanilla ice cream .
You can prepare the chocolate cups in advance and store them empty in the freezer for 4-5 days, ready to be filled.
