How to prepare delicious Italian recipe

To prepare this delicious recipe, you will need:

Ingredients:

  • 4 eggs
  • 200 grams of milk cream
  • 1 chopped tomato
  • 500 g medium potatoes
  • 200 g finely chopped salamin
  • Grated cheese to taste
  • Chopped green onion to taste
  • Salt, black pepper, oregano and paprika to taste
  • Extra virgin olive oil or vegetable oil

For the sauce:

  • 3 heaped tablespoons of heavy cream
  • 2 heaping tablespoons of mayonnaise
  • 1 cucumber
  • 3 garlic cloves

Preparation:

  1. Prepare the potatoes:
    • Wash and peel the potatoes. Then cut them into thin slices.
    • In a large skillet, heat some olive oil or vegetable oil over medium heat.
    • Add the potatoes and cook until golden and tender. Salt and pepper to taste.
  2. Prepare the egg mixture:
    • In a large bowl, beat the eggs together with the heavy cream. Add salt, black pepper, oregano and paprika to taste.
    • Add the chopped tomato, finely chopped salamin and chopped green onion. Mix well.

  1. Assemble the saucer:
    • Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
    • In a baking dish, place a layer of cooked potatoes.
    • Pour the egg mixture over the potatoes, making sure everything is well covered.
    • Sprinkle grated cheese to taste on top.
  2. Bake:
    • Place the pan in the oven and bake for about 25-30 minutes, or until the egg mixture is cooked through and the cheese is golden and bubbly.
  3. Prepare the sauce:
    • While the dish is in the oven, prepare the sauce.
    • In a small bowl, mix the 3 tablespoons of heavy cream with the 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise.
    • Grate the Japanese cucumber and squeeze out any excess liquid.
    • Add the grated cucumber and finely chopped garlic cloves to the cream and mayonnaise mixture. Mix well.
    • Salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Serve:
    • Once the dish is ready, remove it from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
    • Serve the portions accompanied by the cream and cucumber sauce.
