  • Bonsai Growing: Use a shallow pot, trim roots and shape gradually. Protect from direct sun and provide light midday shade.
  • Care:
  • Regular watering, allowing the soil to dry out between waterings to prevent rot.
  • Moderate fertilization with controlled-release fertilizer in spring and summer.
  • Light pruning in the dry season to maintain shape. Trim the tips of the bonsai every few months, avoiding cutting back beyond the flowering points.
  • Diseases and Pests: Generally resistant, but watch for possible infections in pruning cuts.
