Mosquitoes, spiders, cockroaches and bedbugs are unwanted pests that we want to keep out of the house. We tell you how to avoid them and how to get rid of them if they are already installed.

1 – MAKE YOUR OWN TRAP 

Don’t bother chasing cockroaches and cockroaches, let them come to you. To do this, fill a large enough container with a little water and add a few drops of olive oil. Then, put a piece of fruit inside the container to attract the cockroaches. Remember to place the container in a dark place to encourage the cockroaches to come. Once inside, the cockroaches will not be able to get out and will find themselves drowned.

2 – TRY A NATURAL PESTICIDE

This type of product is effective in killing insects without harming humans. Look for a natural insecticide based on orange oil in a store.

• To make your own pesticide, mix about 5-10% orange oil with 90-95% water (not orange cleaner) in a small spray bottle.
• Spray the solution directly on the pests or in the areas where they live. Orange oil is very effective in killing solitary insects and colonies.

3 – LAVENDER ESSENTIAL OIL

Lavender also has a strong smell and can therefore be used as a fly repellent.

Here’s the best way to use it:

1. Put a few drops of lavender essential oil on a sponge and place the sponge in a jar.
2. Close the lid and leave the sponge inside for a few hours to make the scent even more powerful.
3. After a few hours, open the lid a little and place it wherever you want in the house.
