Meatloaf with ham, cheese and spiced glaze!

Meat sandwich with ham and cheese, covered with aromatic and spiced glaze, is the ideal dish for both festive and everyday meals. It is prepared easily and quite quickly, from available ingredients. Leave no one indifferent!

INGREDIENTS:

For the meat composition:

-650 g of minced meat;

-2 tablespoons of grated parmesan;

-a or;

-3 tablespoons of breadcrumbs;

-ground black pepper — to taste;

– green onion — to taste;

-hot pepper flakes – to taste.

For the filling:

-150 g of cheese;

-150 g of ham.

For the glaze:

-2 spoons of honey;

-3 teaspoons of smoked paprika;

-2 teaspoons of granulated garlic;

-2 spoons of ketchup;

– hot pepper flakes – to taste;

– a spoonful of corn starch;

-100 ml of water;

– a spoonful of butter.

METHOD OF PREPARATION:

1. Prepare the meat composition: put the minced meat, chopped green onion, egg, grated parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, ground black pepper and hot pepper flakes in a bowl. Mix and knead the obtained composition. 

2. Prepare the filling: cut the cheese and ham into rectangular slices. 

3. Shape the puff pastry: line the cake pan with baking paper, greased with oil. Spread 1/3 of the meat mixture on its bottom. 

4. Add a layer of ham and a layer of cheese. 

5.Add another 1/3 of the meat mixture. Spread it evenly. Press it well.

6. Add a layer of ham and a layer of cheese. 

7. Spread the rest of the meat composition in the tray. 

8. Cover the meatloaf with aluminum foil. 

9. Bake it for 50 minutes in the oven preheated to 180°C. 

10. Prepare the glaze: put the honey, smoked paprika, granulated garlic, ketchup and chili flakes in a bowl. Mix very well. 

11.Dissolve the cornstarch in cold water. 

12. Melt the butter in a saucepan. Add the ketchup and honey composition to it. Stir. 

13. Add the starch solution. Stir. 

14. Boil the glaze until it starts to thicken, over low heat, stirring continuously with the whisk. 

15. Remove the meatloaf from the oven and from the tray. Place it on a plate. 

16. Spread the glaze on its surface. 

17. Portion and serve the meatloaf with the side dish you like!
