Baking soda can make our tomatoes even juicier and tastier. Sprinkle baking soda on the soil around the tomato plant to reduce acidity levels. The lower the acidity of the soil, the sweeter the tomatoes will be.

3 – CHECK THE PH OF YOUR SOIL

Baking soda can raise the pH of soil that is too acidic. Simply bury a few small piles of baking soda; this will help reduce any acidity in your soil.

Be careful, it is better to start with small quantities then test the acidity again about 1 month after the addition… otherwise you risk ending up with soil that is too chalky…

  • Directions for use: Soak a clean cloth in bicarbonate water and rub. For stubborn dirt, sprinkle the damp cloth with bicarbonate and rub. Repeat if necessary when the grains have dissolved.
  • Explanation: The detergent action of the bicarbonate molecules present in the water is sufficient to dissolve most grease and remove dust, and the mechanical action of gentle abrasion of the bicarbonate grains completes the cleaning on the most stubborn dirt.
