It just melts in your mouth, fantastic apple pie with custard

for a springform pan
270 g flour
2 tsp baking powder
7 drops of vanilla flavor or the pulp of a vanilla pod
some milk
150 g butter
120 g sugar
3 eggs
1 Paradies Creme vanilla flavor
0.3 l milk
5 apples, depending on size
Preparation

  1. First line a springform pan with baking paper. Then peel the apples, quarter them, core them and score them lengthways on top.
  2. Next, beat the eggs with butter, sugar and vanilla flavor until frothy. Gradually add the flour with the baking powder and the milk (I don’t measure the milk, I just do it by feel, the dough shouldn’t be too thin, so a dash is enough).
  3. Now pour the dough into the springform pan and smooth it out. Now arrange the apples in a ring shape on the dough. Preheat the oven to 170°C fan.
  4. Mix 300ml of milk with the baking-proof pudding cream and use a tablespoon to spread the pudding over the apples in small blobs. Bake for about 25 minutes.
    It depends on the oven. It’s best to do a toothpick test.
