How do you clean a burnt steel griddle?

One of the most popular ways to clean a burnt iron, which has a steel sole,   is to apply table salt to  it. 2. Sprinkle generously with salt.
3. Then set the iron to high and slide it over the paper several times in different directions. Just shake off the excess salt and you’re done!
