3 Light Shortcrust Pasta

You will learn how to prepare a light shortcrust pastry, perfect for pie and quiche recipes. By using wholesome ingredients like whole wheat flour and olive oil, you can make a delicious and healthy crust for your favorite meals.

1 – Light classic shortcrust pastry

  • 200g flour
  • 80g light butter
  • 1 egg
  • 30 g lukewarm water
  • 1 pinch of salt

2 – Shortcrust pastry without butter

  • 200g flour
  • 35g oil
  • 80 g lukewarm water
  • 1 pinch of salt

3 – Shortcrust pastry without fat

  • 200g flour
  • 100 g of 0% yoghurt or 0% cottage cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1 pinch of salt

Preparation

  1. Mix all the ingredients for each dough then knead for 2 minutes.
  2. Then let the dough rest in the fridge for 30 minutes.
  3. Roll out the dough then pour into a pie pan.
