Soft bread: how to make the softest brioche ever! You only need a few ingredients to make the fluffiest brioche ever!

Ingredients

  • 200 ml (3/4 cup + 2 tablespoons) lukewarm water
  • 7 g (2 tsp) dry yeast
  • 350 g (2 cups) all-purpose flour
  • 50g (1/4 cup) sugar
  • ½ teaspoon of salt
  • 45g (3 tbsp) butter

Preparation

  1. Whisk warm water with sugar and dry yeast. Set them aside for the yeast to activate.
  2. Mix the flour with the salt and pour the yeast solution into it.
  3. Work the dough with your hands until smooth, then add the butter and knead for 10 minutes.
  4. Reserve the ball of dough for 2 hours. Cut the dough into 6 pieces, roll each one out and roll into a sausage shape again.
  5. Place logs in cake pan and let stand for 1 hour or until doubled.
  6. Bake 20-25 minutes at 180°C/350°F.
