Donuts Beignets: How to Make Them Irresistible!

Fritter donuts are small, round-shaped sweet cakes fried in hot oil and usually covered in icing sugar or syrup. They are tender on the inside and crispy on the outside for a delicious dessert or snack.

INGREDIENTS

  • 140 g (1 cup) all-purpose flour
  • 240 ml (1 cup) of water
  • 3 eggs
  • 75g (⅓ cup) butter
  • a pinch of salt
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

Preparation

  1. Place water and butter over medium heat and boil until butter melts.
  2. Add salt and flour, mix with a spoon until the dough forms.
  3. Add the vanilla extract to the batter, then crack 3 eggs, one at a time, while working the batter with a hand mixer.
  4. Transfer the dough to the piping bag and pipe 12 circles on parchment paper.
  5. Cook each donut in the preheated oil for 3-4 minutes or until golden brown on both sides.
