3 ingredients and 3 minutes of our time are enough to prepare it. Then, however, let’s take into account a stop in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours to firm up the cream! Our patience will be rewarded, but if you don’t like long waits, then try preparing it in the evening before going to sleep. The next day you can dip the spoon into its airy softness and let yourself be transported into a world of flavors that smell of the Amalfi Coast.

Orange dessert: ingredients and preparation

For this recipe, get:

  • freshly squeezed orange juice (600 ml)
  • corn or wheat starch (35 g)
  • sugar (100g)

Put sugar and starch in a saucepan, then turn with a hand whisk to mix them.

Take care of the oranges: to obtain about 600 ml of juice, you will need about 5 or 6, a lot also depends on the size of the fruit. Divide them in two and squeeze them until you reach the indicated amount.

Filter the juice and pour it into the saucepan, stirring constantly with the whisk to dissolve the grains.

Place it on the stove over low heat and cook it without ceasing to mix. When it comes to a boil, continue cooking for about 3-4 minutes, to thicken the cream.

Then transfer it into bowls, glasses, cups, in short, wherever you prefer and let it cool first at room temperature, then in the refrigerator for at least 2/3 hours.
