Simple and Very Gourmet Hachis Parmentier Recipe

Ingredients

  • 700 g of minced beef
  • 1 kg of potatoes
  • 2 onions
  • 1 carrot
  • Rosemary, bay leaf
  • Thyme
  • Parsley
  • Nutmeg
  • Butter
  • 50 g of breadcrumbs
  • Salt and pepper
  • 20 cl of milk
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 5 sprigs of parsley
  • 200 g grated Gruyère cheese
  • Breadcrumbs

Preparation

  1. Wash and peel the potatoes. Cut them so they cook faster in a pot of boiling water.
  2. Preheat the oven to 180°C. Slice the onions, dice the carrots, chop the parsley and garlic.
  3. Brown the vegetables, onion and garlic. In a large pot with a knob of butter. Add the minced meat and herbs.
  4. Add the parsley and make the puree by crushing the potatoes. Thin it with milk and cooking water if you find it too thick. Salt, pepper and season with nutmeg.
  5. In a baking dish, place a layer of puree. Add a layer of minced meat, then a second of mash. Fill the dish like this. Add the breadcrumbs, grated Gruyère and bake for 30 minutes. Serve hot!
