Garlic Potatoes: Quick and Easy to Prepare!
Garlic potatoes are a simple and delicious side dish for any main dish. Potatoes are cut into thick slices and roasted with chopped garlic, olive oil and fresh herbs until golden and crispy on the outside and tender on the inside . This easy side dish can be made ahead and reheated for a quick and tasty meal.
Ingredients
- 4 potatoes
- 35g flour
- 1/4 teaspoon chili flakes
- 1/4 teaspoon oregano
- Salt and pepper
- 120 ml of water
- Melted butter
- 1 teaspoon chopped garlic
- 2 tablespoons of oregano
Preparation
- Cover the sliced potatoes with cold water and soak for 30 minutes.
- Boil the potatoes in fresh water for 7 minutes, drain and set aside.
- Whisk the flour with the salt, oregano, chili pepper and black pepper. Pour in the water, whisk until no lumps remain.
- Add the potatoes to a batter and stir to coat each slice.
- Heat the vegetable oil and add the potatoes. Cook for 7 minutes, set aside on absorbent paper.
- Mix the melted butter with the parsley and garlic and pour it over the potatoes. Stir to coat.
