6 Foods to Prefer to Avoid Hair Loss

By liliaturcin5

Dull, lackluster hair that falls out in handfuls… What’s going on? The answer may be on the plate.

1 – SQUASH

Although it is exceptional, squash, zucchini and other pumpkins can contain toxic substances.

“These vegetables can in fact be crossed with other varieties of cucurbits during pollination, which gives the food a very pronounced bitter taste,” explains the dermatologist.

In addition to digestive disorders, even leading to intestinal lesions, these substances – cucurbitacins – produced by these vegetables can also cause hair loss. You should therefore be wary of zucchini when it is very bitter.

2 – DAIRY PRODUCTS

It is difficult to envisage a link between dairy products and hair loss, especially since these foods are synonymous with growth in the collective imagination. And yet, they can paradoxically completely harm hair growth and its health. Indeed, there may be an imbalance between calcium and magnesium, which is antagonistic to it. Magnesium prevents the accumulation of calcium in the hair follicles, which helps limit hair loss. This explains why high consumption of dairy products has a negative effect on hair regrowth.

3 – ALCOHOL

Alcohol reduces zinc levels in the body. However, zinc is an essential mineral for hair growth. In this sense, alcohol consumption is often correlated with hair loss.

4 – SODA

It’s not always easy to put down the can of soda that gives us a little boost in the middle of the day.

However, soda contains a significant amount of sugar, sweeteners and dyes which not only provide no nutrients to your hair, but will also make it drier.

However, the drier it is, the more the keratin thins and the more porous and brittle the hair becomes. So, it’s best to ditch your daily soda before your hair looks like a bale of straw.

5 – MEAT

The consumption of meat, although it is essential for protein intake, must be done in reasonable quantities so as not to lead to the production of a significant quantity of uric acid. Indeed, it is feared by the hair to the point of promoting its loss.

6 – FATTY AND FRIED FOODS

Eating fried and fatty foods can clog arteries and increase sebum production, which can cause hair follicles to shrink in size, worsen blood circulation, and clog scalp pores. This also increases the level of dihydrotestosterone, a hormone that influences hair loss. In this case, experts already recommend changing the diet rather than trying to solve this problem of oily hair only with the help of shampoo.

This type of “dangerous” food also includes products made from hydrogenated oils, such as chips, cornflakes, processed products, spreads (such as spreads, “light butter”), mayonnaise, ketchup, etc.
