How to Get Rid of Flies in Hot Weather

Flies can invade our homes. They land everywhere, they carry bacteria and they excrete on everything they find. In addition, females reproduce very quickly in summer and can lay 400 to 600 eggs. Fortunately, there are natural and ecological methods to get rid of them.

Ingredients

• 5 teaspoons of peppermint oil
• 1 teaspoon of thyme powder
• 5 teaspoons of lavender essential oil
• Half a liter of water

Preparation 

1. Mix all the ingredients in a saucepan and heat.
2. As soon as it comes to a boil, turn off the heat and let it cool completely before pouring it into a spray bottle.
3. Spray the solution on kitchen surfaces most frequented by flies, especially in and around trash cans.
