Grow Mint in a Cup to Decorate Your Home and Add Fragrance

By liliaturcin5

Fresh flavor, pleasant smell and medicinal properties are guaranteed with mint, this plant, with aromatic leaves and honey-producing flowers, is the most used in the world! Very resistant, it can be grown wherever it can find a little humidity. Today we are going to tell you how to plant peppermint in cups.

Ingredients

  • Large ceramic mug
  • Painter’s tape
  • Drill with drill bit
  • Pass
  • Earth
  • The water
  • Peppermint Seeds

Instructions

  1. Turn your cup upside down, stick a piece of tape and mark two “X”s to pierce the bottom and make the small holes that will serve as a drain.
  2. Prepare the soil with the compost and put it in the bowl. You can water it a little to moisten it.
  3. Add a few peppermint seeds (not many) and cover with soil. I recommend not putting the seeds all the way in, as this may hinder their growth.
  4. You can add a toothpick with a label to see which plant you planted. Little by little you will notice that your plant is growing, and if you wish you can transplant it to another larger area such as a pot or a garden.
  5. Water the cup when you notice the soil is dry, as being a small space could accumulate moisture. Avoid it by watering occasionally and placing your plant in a location where it receives light at dawn and shade at dusk.
