How to Perfume the Whole House with 2 Bay Leaves

The cold forces us to close all the windows in the house in winter. In the absence of ventilation, our interior gives off an odor which is not always pleasant. To deodorize and perfume your home, there are several tips available to you. Like natural deodorants, bay leaves are very popular for diffusing a pleasant scent. Find out how to scent your home in winter with bay leaves.

1 – Infusion for home

Let’s first look at one of the most popular and widely used methods, home brewing.

It’s not very difficult to prepare, you  just have to be very careful not to burn yourself  , so be very careful.

Well, all you have to do is fill a pot with hot water and put it on the stove over low heat. Then add 2 bay leaves and wait until they start to boil.

Once boiled, the water will have generated a steam scented with bay leaf, all you have to do is spread it throughout the rooms of the house.

You can first transfer the water to a bowl or another pan, or be very careful and  carry the pan to all rooms  , just let it sit for about ten minutes.

Reheat it if you see that it no longer evaporates.

2 – Use a fabric bag

Place a few bay leaves in fabric bags that you keep in your cupboards and drawers to remove the musty and musty smell from your clothes.

Tip:  To scent your clothes, you can choose to put fresh lavender leaves, coffee grounds or even scented soap shavings in your fabric bag.

3 – Use of radiator 

• Start your heater to warm the house in winter.
• Place 3 dry bay leaves on top.
• Leave it on for as long as you want.
• A good scent is released, the intensity of which increases over time.
