How to degrease, disinfect and perfume the dishwasher with the glass method

By liliaturcin5

The dishwasher is, perhaps, among our favorite household appliances, which saves us from one of the most boring and heavy household chores, namely washing the dishes. Knowing that you can just press one button to get very clean dishes, especially during a big dinner, is truly a relief.

Precisely for this reason you should return the favor and do a deep cleaning of the dishwasher with some frequency. This will also improve the effectiveness of the appliance.

Food residues and grease accumulate in the dishwasher which, in the long run, can cause bad odors and reduce its effectiveness. Before relying on industrial products, try applying the following glass method to clean your dishwasher thoroughly .

Putting the method into practice is really very simple. We start by spreading some baking soda over the entire surface of the dishwasher.

Make sure you put bicarbonate of soda on the bottom and racks of the dishwasher, but also on the cutlery tray. Half a glass of baking soda should be enough to cover the entire surface, but you can add more if necessary.

After sprinkling baking soda on the dishwasher, fill a glass of white vinegar to the brim and place it in the center of the dishwasher’s top rack.

The time has now come to start a wash cycle and wait for the baking soda and white vinegar to do their job, thoroughly degreasing, disinfecting and deodorizing the dishwasher .

Once the wash cycle is finished, only the glass full of water will remain. The dishwasher will now be very clean and shiny, grease and limescale will have disappeared and it will smell clean.

Apply the glass method to wash the dishwasher at least once a month to always have a clean and high-performance appliance.
