In order to eliminate plant pests,  you can use one of many natural DIY methods  . Pests are certainly enemies of plants, as they cause various diseases. To eradicate them, you can make a natural antiparasitic mixture.

To find out how to prepare this effective mixture to eliminate parasites, I suggest you carefully read the procedure explained here.

Types of plant pests

When pests infest a plant, they feed on its sap and slowly carry it away. Among the  main  plant pests  are  mites. Different types of insects, mites and fungi can seriously harm plant health.

Recognizing plant pests  is very important to intervene in time. Certain signs may reveal the presence of parasites, which devour leaves and flowers. Red spider mites  are small, eight-legged mites that infest vegetables and fruits. They cause leaves to dry out and plants to die. To eliminate spider mites, you must remove the leaves and use garlic as  an insecticide  to spray on the plant.

The  whitefly  is a parasite that attacks lemons, geraniums and orchids. It is an insect that produces honeydew, a white substance with which it fills the leaves to make them turn yellow and fall. The remedy for this parasite is garlic infusion or apple cider vinegar. Mealybug spreads with heat and humidity, attacking plants and producing honeydew  that  attracts  fungi and other pests. To defeat these pests, simply clean the affected areas with cotton wool dipped in ethyl alcohol.

Caterpillars, which devour the tender leaves of plants, can be repelled by washing the plant with a mixture of black pepper and water  Aphids  or lice  love roses, attaching themselves to the stem and  sucking its blood  . To eliminate them, simply place ladybugs in the garden, which are the predators of these parasites, or use a natural spray based on horsetail, neem oil or Marseille soap.

Natural antiparasitics

To  free plants from the dreaded parasites,  it is better to use natural remedies than pesticides, which are harmful to the plant and to humans. Essential oils, spread on the leaves or sprayed into the plants, are a  valid remedy against parasites. In particular,  neem, lavender and tea tree oil  are excellent  natural oils with repellent action.

To  combat them in a natural and ecological way  , you can use  garlic macerate,  very useful for its antibacterial power. Due to its stinging power,  nettle macerate  represents an excellent natural remedy against aphids and mealybugs.

Against fungal diseases,  sodium bicarbonate  is very useful when dissolved in water and sprayed on plants. Another widely used natural insecticide is  pyrethrum powder,  which helps control fruit flies and mosquitoes.
