The ingredients

We need:

4 large or 5/6 medium apples. the juice of half a lemon. half a cup of water (120 ml). a teaspoon of vanilla sugar or a spoonful of vanilla essence. a cup of sugar (180 g) or sweetener. a cup of raisins (150 g). a cup of walnuts (100 g). a pinch of salt. ground cinnamon to taste. three eggs. half a cup of oil (120 ml). two cups all-purpose flour (260 g. one tablespoon baking powder (12 g).

The preparation

The first thing is to cut the apples into small pieces with a knife, without peeling them. When we’re done, we squeeze the juice of half a lemon over it, to prevent it from turning black due to oxidation.

They mix well and then pour half a glass of water. We mix again and add a teaspoon of vanilla sugar. Next we also pour a cup of sugar and mix everything again, then add a glass of candied raisins to the mix and then some hazelnuts or shelled walnuts.

Adjust this colorful mix with a pinch of salt and then sprinkle with cinnamon to taste. Let it rest for 10 minutes and then pour half a cup of oil and then, after that, break three eggs: mix again a little and then add two cups of flour a little at a time, after which obviously mix again and then add the baking powder.

At this point, we take a baking dish, grease it with butter and then pour in the wonderful dough that we have been making so far.

Now everything goes in the oven at 180 degrees for three quarters of an hour.

And since all psalms end in glory, the finishing touch can only be a good dusting with icing sugar.
