However, it is not uncommon that even after having carefully disinfected and washed every corner of these rooms, we realize how bad odors continue to be released. In most cases we try to solve this problem with the different  chemicals  on the market, but there are also  natural solutions  that allow the kitchen and bathroom to smell again.

For example, not everyone knows that certain ingredients found in almost every home are perfect for giving the kitchen and bathroom an intoxicating scent. In addition, these ingredients are also very useful in  repelling  insects such as ants and mosquitoes  : with the arrival of the warmer months, this is another aspect to take into strong consideration. But what are these ingredients that are so effective for cleaning and scenting kitchens and bathrooms?

The first element on which we can count is naphthalene  ,  especially that in the form of tablets: in addition to aromatizing the environment, naphthalene is ideal for repelling moths and is a perfect repellent for the different animals that circulate in the house in spring. and summer. But there is also another ingredient that is often used to eliminate bad odors:  we are talking about coffee  , another element that manages to give a good scent to the environment. Finally, the third element necessary to remove unpleasant odors from the kitchen and bathroom is  the fabric softener  that we usually use to perfume clothes in the washing machine.

The first thing to do is take three or four mothballs and crush them on a sheet of paper, then place everything in a container. At this point  we add the coffee inside the container  where we put the chopped mothballs: the advice is to fill a good spoonful of coffee, then mix everything with a wooden stick (like those that the used for ice cream).

The next step is to put  a little fabric softener (about the size of a finger) inside the container  , mixing it thoroughly with the solution. You must ensure that the mixture obtained is very liquid.

Since we will need a string, we can take it from a tea or chamomile bag, detaching it from the filter bag. You apply  the string inside a plastic cap  positioned over the mixture (still inside the container) and light the end of the string with a match.
