The simple trick to thread the needle the easy way: you only need a bottle cap

By liliaturcin5

Threading a needle can sometimes be a complicated and frustrating task. Whether it’s vision problems or simply difficulty getting the thread through the small eye of the needle, we’ve all experienced moments when we wish we had a simpler solution. But do not worry! In this article, we’ll introduce you to a clever and easy-to-use trick that will make threading a needle a piece of cake. All you’ll need is a bottle cap and fine wire. Read on to find out how to do it.

Steps to thread a needle with a bottle cap

  1. Gather the necessary materials:
    • A bottle cap: make sure it is large enough to hold the thread you are going to use.
    • Thin wire: Choose a thin but strong wire that can be easily manipulated.
  2. Cut the bottle cap along the edge: Take the bottle cap and very carefully make a cut along the top edge of the cap. This will create an opening to hook the wire into.
  3. Shape the wire: Take the thin wire and shape it into a hook at one end. This hook will be responsible for holding the thread and passing it through the eye of the needle.
  4. Insert the wire into the bottle cap: Slide the end of the wire with the hook through the opening you created in the bottle cap. Make sure the hook is inside the cap.
  5. Use the improvised threader: Now, place the needle and then the end of the thread into the wire hook inside the bottle cap. Gently pull the wire outward, dragging the thread through the opening in the lid. You will see how the thread threads easily!

And that’s it! You’ve created your own makeshift threader using a bottle cap and thin wire. Now you can thread a needle without difficulty.
