Fabulous trick for repairing fake leather on jackets, bags, shoes or furniture

Fake leather jackets , bags or shoes are very common and represent an ethical and ecological alternative to animal skin garments and objects. However, their only disadvantage is the tendency to wear out and become practically unusable.

Synthetic leather is a material that simulates animal skin and is produced with polymers, a processed fiber that imitates the texture and color of “real” leather. Although it has greater resistance to friction, is antibacterial and has greater malleability, imitation leather wears out faster.

You need:

• Fabric paint (the color of the item you need to recover)
• White glue
• 2 brushes

Put a little glue on the worn area using one of the two brushes. Spread the glue evenly and let it dry, then apply another layer of glue.

Once the second layer of glue has dried, apply the paint with the other brush. Go over with the brush several times until you obtain a uniform color.
