Super-clean toilet: eliminate yellow stains and limescale, disinfect it and perfume it with 1 ingredient

By liliaturcin5

It doesn’t matter how many times you wash the toilet: over time, the limescale present in the water always ends up staining the internal surfaces orange.

Not to mention the dirt, which deposits on the limestone and generates very annoying dark spots, which are difficult to eliminate except with very powerful chemical products.

Being in constant contact with water, it is difficult to solve the problem of limescale and dirt accumulation in the toilet permanently. When limescale absorbs dirt, it takes on an annoying dark color.

For this reason it is essential to apply the following advice both to prevent the appearance of limescale and to eliminate existing limescale .

Limestone is composed of calcium carbonate, an alkaline compound, so an acid is needed to dissolve and eliminate it. Vinegar, for example, is a very useful product in this regard.

Vinegar and lemon

The acids in both ingredients dissolve stains and limescale deposits from the toilet, also eliminating odor-causing microorganisms.

Mix 100ml of vinegar with the juice of one lemon and spray onto the toilet surface. Wait 30 minutes, then flush the toilet and use a damp cloth to clean the outside surfaces of the toilet.

Bicarbonate and hydrogen peroxide

The combination of these two ingredients has the particularity of whitening surfaces, and is therefore perfect for darker limestone. Furthermore, it has a disinfectant effect.

Mix 80 grams of baking soda with 2 tablespoons of hydrogen peroxide, and use a sponge to rub the solution on surfaces.

After 30 minutes, rinse with plenty of water and that’s it, a very clean and fragrant bathroom .
