Ingredients
- 20 gr. of yeast
- 500 ml. of warm milk
- 100 gr. of sugar
- 150 ml. of oil
- 2 eggs
- 1kg of flour
- 3 gr. of salt
- 80 gr. vanilla custard
- 80 ml. milk
- 700 ml. Milk (for the dough)
- 15 ml. of Oil (for greasing)
Preparation
- First, dissolve the yeast in the warm milk and add 1 tablespoon of sugar. Let it rest for 10 minutes or until it bubbles (leaves).
- In a large bowl, mix the remaining sugar, oil, eggs and the risen yeast mixture.
- Add the flour and salt, mixing well until you obtain a homogeneous dough.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for a few minutes, then let it rest for 30 minutes.
- After the dough has rested, divide it into two equal parts and roll each one out into a rectangle.
- Next step, place one of the parts of the dough spread out in a rectangular shape on the egg carton and adapt it with your hands.
- Meanwhile, prepare the flan powder by mixing with the 80 ml of milk.
- Then, add the 700 ml of milk and bring the vanilla custard mixture to a boil, cooking until it thickens. Let cool to room temperature.
- Next, we pour the preparation into a pastry bag and place it in the refrigerator.
- To finish, we remove it from the refrigerator and with the sleeve we apply a little of the dessert on the dough adapted to the egg carton and fill it in each well.
- Finally, the other dough cover is placed on top of the filling and the edges are joined. Also, mark the portions on the top of the dough and brush the entire surface with oil.
- Bake at 170°C for 45 minutes or until golden.
Once we remove it from the oven, it can be sprinkled with powdered sugar and ready to cut and serve!
