Vitamin water for plant growth and flowering
Ingredients:
- Water: Use non-chlorinated water, either rainwater or water allowed to sit for at least 24 hours to allow the chlorine to evaporate.
- Compost tea (optional): Make compost tea by boiling water and adding organic compost. Then, let the water cool before using it.
3. Seaweed Extract: Seaweed is rich in nutrients and minerals essential for plant growth. You can find seaweed extract at garden stores or online. Add about 1-2 tablespoons per gallon of water.
- Baking soda: Add a small amount of baking soda to slightly adjust the pH of the water. A quarter teaspoon per gallon of water should be enough.
- Sugar: Add one teaspoon of sugar per gallon of water. The sugar will provide additional energy to the beneficial bacteria in the soil.
Instructions:
- Mix all ingredients in a large bowl, making sure to dissolve the kelp extract and baking soda well.
- Let the mixture sit for at least 24 hours to allow the ingredients to mix and break down properly.
- Filter the mixture to remove any solid residue before using it.
How to use:
Water your plants with this vitamin water once a week or every two weeks. Make sure you don’t overdo it, as too much nutrients can also be harmful to plants.
