One of the most annoying winter tasks for me is storing eggshells.
Then I grind them into powder to use in the spring and summer. I sprinkle them on the soil of tomato plants to prevent “blossom end rot,” a common problem caused by a lack of calcium. It works wonderfully every time! Plus, slugs and snails don’t like it, so your vegetables are protected. 😃
