We invite you to learn about these natural methods:

1- Peppermint oil:

Mint has a powerful aroma that scares away the vast majority of insects. A homemade method to make a natural repellent is as follows:

  • We have to mix 8 drops of peppermint oil with a little water. We put this mixture into a sprayer and proceed to spray all parts of the house where they can enter or be, such as corners, windows and doors.

2- Vinegar:

Vinegar is a great ally and helps us clean various places in the house. It can also act as a good repellent, we simply have to do:

  • We mix equal parts of vinegar and water. We shake well and apply outside our home and especially where our pets go.

3- Baking soda:

It may seem like a lie, but baking soda is a powerful insecticide. This is because it absorbs all the moisture from its organisms.

  • We simply have to sprinkle a good amount of baking soda where these insects usually are, over time we will see the results.

4- Lavender, eucalyptus and rosemary:

Like mint, the combination of these plants can be a powerful repellent and insecticide. What we have to do is:

  • We mix about 5 drops of each essential oil. We add a little water and proceed to put it in a sprayer and spray inside the house. The good part about this repellent is that it will leave us with a more than comfortable aroma.

5- Cayenne Pepper

Insects hate strong aromas, so spraying a good amount of cayenne pepper where they usually live is usually one of the best ideas to scare away fleas, ticks and even cockroaches.
