- First, remove oil residue using absorbent paper.
- Treat the stain by rubbing it with a lemon wedge or applying the juice of a squeezed lemon to it. Allow the lemon to act for a few minutes, since its citric acid is an effective natural degreaser.
- Prepare a mixture of water and detergent in a container. Use a brush to apply the resulting foam to the stain and rub it in.
- Rinse the detergent with water and then place the garment in the washing machine. Proceed to wash it as usual.

- Laundry Soap: Many laundry soaps today are designed with degreasing agents that make the task easier.
