THE BEST BREAD PUDDING

Ingredients:
1 16 oz loaf French bread
5 eggs
1 cup of sugar
1 1/2 cup milk
1 1/2 cup heavy cream
2 tsp vanilla
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg
Sauce:
1 cup heavy cream
1 Tbs flour
1/2 cup sugar
4 Tbs butter
1 tsp vanilla
Directions:
Step 1: Prepare the oven and preheat to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.
Step 2: Apply cooking spray in a 9×13-inch baking dish.
Step 3: Slice the bread into 1-inch squares, then put them into a large mixing bowl.
Step 4: Add the eggs, milk, cream, cinnamon, vanilla, nutmeg, and sugar into another mixing bowl. Whisk until well mixed.
Step 5: Spread the mixture on top of the bread and stir until everything is well coated. Allow them to soak for 20 minutes.
Step 6: Transfer the soaked bread into a baking dish and spread it evenly.
Step 7: Place it inside the preheated oven and bake for 1 hour or until a toothpick comes out clean after inserting it in the middle.
Step 8: Place a saucepan on the stove, then add the flour, heavy cream, and sugar. Whisk until well mixed.
Step 9: Add the butter, then turn the heat to medium. Allow the mixture to boil.
Step 10: Whisk until the texture becomes thick, then add the vanilla. Stir until well blended.
Step 11: Serve and enjoy!
