Homemade insecticide to kill flies, cockroaches and mosquitoes
Everyone often struggles to get rid of pests that enter the home and can appear at any time . For example, flies and mosquitoes appear during the summer months , but there are many other types of insects depending on where you live.

1. Garlic alcohol
Ingredients:
- 5 cloves of garlic (for every half liter of solution)
- Alcohol (70º to 90º)
- 1 drop of neutral detergent
- 1 Spray bottle
Let’s remember, the mixture must be made up of 50% water and 50% alcohol.
Preparation
1- Start by cutting the garlic into slices and putting it in a jar filled with alcohol. Let it sit for 24 hours.
2- The next day, add water and a mild cleaning product to the solution.
3- Mix everything together and then fill a spray bottle with the mixture.
4- To use this homemade insecticide, spray it on the foliage and stems of plants as needed.
Important: This product has a long shelf life and should be kept out of direct sunlight, but does not require refrigeration.
It is ready to use immediately, does not pose any danger to animals, is inexpensive and works great for eliminating pests!
2. Alcohol, mothballs and cloves
Ingredients:
- 30 gr. de Naftalina
- 100 ml. of detergent or liquid soap
- 100 ml. of Alcohol
- 1 cup of alcohol vinegar
- 200 ml. of water
- 20 Cloves
Optional: If desired, you can add coffee to the recipe, although cloves will provide much more smell.
Preparation
1- We start by combining the naphthalene , liquid soap or detergent , alcohol and alcohol vinegar in a container .
2- Next we add water and cloves, stirring until everything is mixed .
3- Let it sit for a while before transferring it to a spray bottle .
4- Shake it once more before spraying it in areas where mosquitoes , flies and cockroaches tend to be found .

1- We start by placing a sheet of aluminum foil on a plate, and then we sprinkle the ground coffee on top.
2- It is suggested to carry out this home procedure in an environment that is cool and dry .
3- The plate should be placed on a table , away from children or animals , before you begin to slowly burn the coffee grounds , similar to burning incense .
4- You can also pre -burn the coffee and then transfer it to something metal , such as a can.
5- Finally , light the fire and let the smoke fill your space and act as an effective insect repellent .
