Cockroaches: here are the remedies to eliminate them
There are several remedies to eliminate cockroaches and we are going to see some of them below. Among these is the ultrasonic repellent which essentially emits sounds that are not perceptible to humans but that actually bother the animal a lot . In this case, therefore, the cockroach will be eliminated and it is safe because it is not as dangerous as the poison can be.
Other remedies are natural methods and among these we find :
- Baking soda and sugar : just make a mixture with these two ingredients in equal parts and then create balls with very little water. You can spread them in areas where you have seen them or in any case near sinks, drains, etc. Sugar attracts them, but baking soda works in your body to kill them.
- Laurel : Place a few bay leaves in specific places. Cockroaches do not like the pungent smell of this aromatic plant and will immediately leave.
- Cucumber – Just take an aluminum can and insert some cucumber peels. Aluminum and cucumber produce an odor that is not appreciated by the cockroaches that will leave. In this case, however, the odor that will exist will not be pleasant for humans either.
- Vaseline : in this case you will have to create a trap. You will need half a plastic bottle or a container to put the Vaseline. Inside you will also have to put food that attracts cockroaches. Once they get there for the food, they’ll be stuck for the Vaseline.
- Boric Acid – Simply mix it with flour and sugar. These two will attract the roaches while the boric acid will kill them. Be careful with this trap if there are pets and small children in the house.
