That’s how it is! You just need empty cardboard rolls of used toilet paper and a little creativity.
We recommend: The toilet paper trick in the fridge
This trick consists of placing toilet paper tubes directly between the curtain rings or cutting cardboard tubes from kitchen paper (which are a little bigger) to the size that suits you best (about 3 or 4 centimeters) and using them to hold the curtains together with a distinctive and elegant gathered look.
Depending on the desired aesthetic, you can paint the rings any color you like or leave them natural.
How to give your curtains an amazing look
We just need to put a tube in each curtain ring. Some may be thicker or longer, so we need to measure a bit and possibly cut the tube.
The toilet paper tube is usually perfect for this method, but kitchen paper is usually longer.
That is why to perform this trick, follow these instructions:
- Calculate the width of your curtain and divide it by the number of tubes you plan to install. This will determine the spacing between each ring.
- Use a pencil or pin to indicate where on the top of the curtain each tube should go.
- Cut cardboard tubes into shapes of equal thickness and paint them if desired.
- Place the tubes in their designated places, threading fabric through each one so that it sticks out from the top.
- Repeat the operation with all the remaining rings and you’re done!
