How to make mandarin oranges in syrup. Very easy!

To make this incredible preparation, we will need:

Ingredients:

-6 tangerines
-240 ml of water (1 cup)
-200 g of sugar (1 cup)
-1 cinnamon stick (optional)
-2 cloves (optional)
-Juice of half a lemon

Preparation

  1. Wash the mandarins thoroughly and remove the outer skin. You can do this easily by using a sharp knife to peel the mandarin, making sure to remove as much of the white skin as possible.
  2. In a medium saucepan, add the water, sugar, cinnamon stick, and cloves (optional). Bring the mixture to a medium-high heat and stir until the sugar is completely dissolved.
  3. Add the peeled mandarins to the pot and add the juice of half a lemon. This will help enhance the flavor and prevent the mandarins from turning dark.
  4. Reduce the heat to medium-low and allow the mandarins to cook in the syrup for about 20-25 minutes, or until they are tender but still hold their shape. Stir occasionally to make sure all the mandarins are well coated in the syrup.
  5. Once the mandarins are ready, remove the pot from the heat and allow them to cool completely to room temperature. As they cool, the mandarins will absorb more of the flavor of the syrup.
  6. Once the mandarins are completely cooled, you can transfer them to a sterilized glass jar with a tight-fitting lid. Make sure to cover the mandarins completely with the syrup.

And this is how we can make this delicious homemade dessert in a very simple way! The tangerines in this preparation are the most delicious thing you will ever try. Don’t miss it!
