Delicious desserts with nuts super easy to prepare
Today we will see an interesting and delicious recipe to prepare some desserts or sweets with walnuts at home. In fact, the times we consume walnuts we do it in a simple way or to decorate, but the proposal that we will now see is a secret from our grandmothers.
The walnuts will be accompanied by other simple ingredients that we can have in our kitchen, but the combination of all of them and their preparation make it a super delicious dessert.
Let’s go straight to the recipe:

First of all, the ingredients that are required:
Ingredients
- 360 gr. of walnuts (with shells)
- 200 gr. walnuts (without shells)
- c/n of Water
- 3 tbsp. Honey
- 120 gr. of dark chocolate
- 120 gr. of white chocolate
- 2 tbsp. grated coconut
Preparation mode
- First of all, we place the nuts in a small pot with water and boil them for about 10 minutes.
- When the time is up, remove them from the pot and begin to break the shells and keep the insides. We will only reserve about 6 walnuts for decoration.
- Next step, once we have all the nuts peeled, we will take a rather wide-edged knife to start chopping all the nuts. In reality, it is a manual way of crushing them well.
- Once we have chopped everything, we pour them into a bowl and add the tablespoons of grated coconut and honey. Then we mix everything and if we want we can use gloves to work better when stirring the ingredients.
- Once everything is well mixed, start giving it round shapes, similar to bite-sized pieces. Set aside.
- On the other hand, we put a small pot in a bain-marie and inside it a small glass container to add the white chocolate to melt. We set aside.
- Next, choose a silicone mold and lightly oil it with the help of a brush.
- When the melted chocolate has cooled, we put it in a piping bag and place a layer in each individual silicone mold that will serve as the base of the dessert.
- Next step, we place each nut and honey bite that we set aside. Then, we press a little so that they join together and let it harden a little.
- Next, we melt the dark chocolate in a bain-marie, but we cut it into pieces so that it cooks faster.
- Once cooled, we pour the melted dark chocolate back into the piping bag and cover each bite from above. Remember to form a generous layer up to the top of the mold.
- Finally, remove the cake from the mould once it is firm and start decorating each one. Use the leftover white chocolate and use the piping bag to give it the shape you like best, like a flower or something similar. Don’t forget to place each nut in each bite, it will be very tempting without a doubt.
