Then place the banana tree inside a jar, cover it with soil and water it abundantly. Repeat the watering procedure 3 times a week for 2 months.
After 60 days you will see something amazing: your roots will have started to grow and become stronger. Now you will have to remove them from the soil and the banana that has decomposed in the meantime, and place your healthy roots in another pot.
