4 tricks to make your plants bloom all year round and not rot

By Lesia

It has probably happened to you at least once in your life that you buy a beautiful plant, take it home, and watch helplessly as it weakens and all its flowers fall. You have surely wondered why this happens and what to do to prevent it.

Plants purchased from nurseries or supermarkets are subject to a sharp change in temperature once they are brought home. Changes in light exposure, nutrients, temperature and humidity levels can stress plants to the point of preventing flowering.

Below we list  4 effective tricks to make plants bloom all year round  , making them healthier, stronger and more beautiful to look at.

First trick: tea bags

If you are in the habit of drinking tea, never throw away used tea bags. They are excellent allies for fertilizing the soil of our plants, especially roses.

Remember to get rid of the flowers that are already dry, so that they can make room for the new flowers to continue their process.

Second trick: cinnamon

Get two cinnamon sticks, then make an herbal tea by cooking them for a few minutes in water. Let it cool and then spray directly on the ground.

Alternatively, sprinkle cinnamon powder directly onto the soil surrounding the plant stem. Cinnamon contains essential nutrients for the plant. Apply it at least once a week.

Third trick: banana peels and egg shells

Both are nutrient-rich ingredients for plants and highly prized in the garden. Combine banana peels with washed eggshells, add some ground coffee and mix everything together.

Pour the solution directly onto the soil, as if it were compost.

Fourth trick: the nails

Nutrients present in the soil are essential for good plant growth and flowering. Cloves are very rich in iron, and can be a great help in the garden.

Place at least 3 or 4 cloves in the soil of the plant. They will release iron into the soil as you water the plant, making it healthier and stronger.
