To always have  a perfect vegetable garden,  it is important to follow some useful tips. For example,  have you ever tried to grow zucchini?  To obtain healthy and lush zucchini plants, it is essential to plant them only, away from some particular species. Thanks to this tip, you will be able to have an impeccable harvest and you will not run the risk of some plants interfering negatively with your zucchini.

This is the right way to grow zucchini in your garden

One of the most important aspects to consider when you decide to create your own vegetable garden is undoubtedly the choice of location. In fact, it is necessary  to choose a  suitable location, with adequate sun exposure, with adequate drainage and with optimal soil conditions for plant growth.

It is essential to give your vegetable garden the proper attention and care, properly fertilizing the plants with  completely natural fertilizers.  This way, no damage is done to the plants. In the specific case of zucchini, it is very important to keep in mind that these plants need space to grow well. In fact, these are plants that cannot reproduce properly if they are buried too close.

Zucchini are precious vegetables that we cannot do without in the kitchen , which is why it is very common to grow them in our own garden. However, you should know that  if they are planted too close to each other or placed next to other species, you risk compromising their growth . Indeed, zucchini could easily become infected and sick, as they are very delicate plants. Let’s find out which species should not be grown next to our zucchini plants.

What should you never plant near zucchini?

You can only get healthy and strong zucchini plants with a perfect harvest if you follow some important precautions. First of all, you should know that  zucchini should never be planted next to other plants from the same family , such as cucumbers, melons or other cucurbits. The risk is that these other plants can retain all the main nutrients from the soil, negatively affecting the growth of zucchini.

In general,  it is preferable to change the cultivation position of zucchini every year , precisely to prevent this delicate plant from being attacked by pests or becoming a victim of dangerous diseases. Plants that do not create any harm to zucchini, on the other hand, are those of tomatoes and beans. In this case, it is possible to combine zucchini plants with the cultivation of these other species, without any problem.
