Yellow streaks in the toilet? This method will really get rid of them!
There is nothing more unpleasant than yellow streaks in the toilet bowl. However, this is not just a purely visual issue, but also strictly linked to hygiene. So how can we solve this problem? Here are some simple tricks!
lemon and vinegar
The lemon-vinegar combination can be useful not only in the kitchen, but in many other areas. Among the thousand uses, it is worth mentioning that of removing yellow streaks from the toilet bowl. You can use a spray bottle, or vaporizer, with three quarters vinegar and one quarter lemon juice (make sure it is well filtered of seeds and pulp).
At this point, all we have to do is spray it on the toilet strips and wait at least a couple of hours. Once the necessary time has passed, proceed with a little effort and we will see our toilet as good as new!
Goodbye to yellow streaks in the toilet with baking soda and Marseille soap
Two other items that are frequently used in household chores are Marseille soap and baking soda. Combined, they are excellent for yellow toilet lines.
Simply spread the baking soda over the yellowed areas and wait for it to adhere completely. Then, add a few flakes of Marseille soap, diluted with a little water (be careful not to spill the baking soda).
You have to leave everything at least one night and that’s it!
Citric acid
Citric acid is also very useful for this purpose. Here too, it is an excellent product for many reasons. As for the yellow sanitary strips, it is enough to dissolve approximately 150-200 g of the product in about a litre of water and mix. You should achieve a uniform solution.
In this case too, we must pour everything into a spray bottle or vaporizer. At this point, we spray most of the liquid obtained on the yellow stripes of our toilet. It is necessary to let the mixture act for at least a couple of hours . However, the final result will be really excellent!
salt and lemon
Another particularly useful remedy against yellow streaks in the toilet bowl is salt combined with lemon. These are products that have an exceptional degreasing power, especially when combined together.
They can also be very useful against limestone. If you want to try this technique, you just have to sprinkle fine salt on the affected parts and then cover everything with lemon juice. Leave it on until everything has dried and then proceed to rub vigorously. The end result will be crazy.
