“Just one cup a month transforms a dry stump into a non-stop floral show. Discover the secret behind my orchids that bloom all year round!”

By Lesia

In this article you will learn the easiest way to care for an orchid so that it blooms profusely.

Thanks to this care,  the flowers last up to 5-6 months on the branches.

In addition, the color of the flowers is rich and bright.

Check out these tips from the YouTube channel Mẹo vặt cuộc sống.

Humidity must be maintained so that the leaves remain lush and the roots strong.

With this organic fertilizer you will get great results.

Once a month,  pour enough water  on the orchid roots to rinse them.

Over time, old compost residue builds up on the roots and needs to be cleaned out.

Soak the orchid in a water bath for 30 minutes.

To prepare organic fertilizer we need:

1 beet (30 g)

water

Procedure:

Beets contain many nutrients  to promote flowering and accelerate plant growth.

Cut the beetroot into slices, put it in the blender and pour a litre of water over it.

Stir and then strain the mixture through a coarse strainer.

Drain the water from the orchid and take care of the leaves.

Soak a cotton swab in the prepared beet juice and wipe the leaves on both sides with it.

Now pour the beet juice into a spray bottle and spray it on the orchid.

Then dry with a cloth.

Next, pour the fertilizer onto the roots and you should apply it once a month.

Don’t forget  to put a bowl  into which the excess liquid can flow.

With this method, the orchid will feed   one disc after another.

You will find more information in the video attached at the end of the article.

Fertilizer for rice

Now you will learn the recipe for another great fertilizer for your orchids.

They will bloom like crazy after it.

Need:

5 tablespoons of rice

500 ml of water at room temperature

Cotton swabs

Progress:

Put the rice in a bowl and cover it with water.

Mix by hand and wash well.

Then filter through a coarse strainer.

Soak a cotton swab in rice water and wash the orchid leaves with it.

This will kill all  germs, even bugs.

At the same time, it provides orchids with the necessary nutrients.

Repeat this process after 2 weeks.

You can also pour the rice water into a spray bottle.

Then spray it evenly over the top and bottom of the leaves.

Now take a bowl, put the orchid in it and pour the same rice water over the roots.

Soak the orchid in this way for about 1 hour so that the roots absorb as many nutrients as possible.

Then drain off excess water, dry and  repeat this fertilization every 14 days  .

You can also   freeze  the rice water.

When you need it, just grab some ice cubes, let them  defrost  , and wait for the water to reach room temperature.

This way you will always have good fertilizer on hand.

Note:

Never place frozen rice water cubes directly on the orchid, as they do not like the cold.

After just 2-3 weeks you will notice the difference.

The leaves will be evergreen, new roots will grow and it will bloom profusely.
